THE BRAND HISTORY Cecil Walker was an Australian Pro Cyclist from Sydney. He got his start in cycling by delivering goods to local customers on his bike, and before too long had joined the local cycling club. He later moved to America where he won his first all-round American title By the time he concluded his American track racing career in 1938, Cecil returned to Melbourne with 9 all-around American cycling titles and opened a bike shop on Elizabeth St. Although the store has moved a couple of times along the same block since then, it’s been a staple of life on Elizabeth St ever since. THE BIKE This is a gorgeous quality road bike frame has been rebuilt from the frame up with reburbished non-original components. There is only some cosmetic scratches on the frame, and has had a heap of new parts installed to give this vintage bike a new lease on life.
